Singapore Hits Awards 2002
19 awards were given out
late night and stefanie banged 3 awards altogether. They are:

 Photos are not available yet. Stefanie had 2 changes of
outfit. the first one was a satin turquoise blue gown which I think
was totally a fashion disaster. As I was seated way back, the
feathered accessories that was hanging in front of her chest looked
like a comb of bananas to me...I only realized that they were feathers
when I looked at the big screen. The top area seems too tight
and...you get what
 I mean...however the 2nd outfit was slightly better
as it was in white.
 erm but the sequins and glitters on the
pants made her looked like a a big ah-lian (no offence to anyone)...I don't mean to sound mean
but after last year's shocking pink stockings, I thought that her
wardrobe designer would get her something decent this year, I guess
that I was wrong. Well anyway, I did like the song "Wang Zi Mian"
which was performed together with MayDay. Come to think of it, the
sales of Wang Zi Mian in TW might go up....

Delight Jelly Drink (Fu Le)
This beverage is only available in TW...since this is from TW. It
comes with quite a number of flavors, like peach, coffee etc. Not a
bad buy since the bottle can be reused. There are many products in
china and Taiwan that puts the images of their spokesperson on their
products. Just to name a few: Lee Hom (Wa Ha Ha Distilled H2O), Jerry
Yen (Biffy Yoghurt Drink) and Elva Hsiao (Yoplait Yoghurt drink) and
of course now, Yanzi on Fresh Delight Jelly Drink.

Stefanie's 5th album is

13th Golden Melody Awards
 Although
Yanzi did not managed to win anything last night, but at least I hope
that she had enjoyed the show and had quite some fun. We can hardly
see yanzi in skirts, but yesterday, she wore a bias cutting and
sleeveless dress or was it a gown. Many fans were at the side of the
red carpet and they kept cheering when Yanzi showed up. She kept
fidgeting with her gown and when she was asked if she was afraid that
the dress might fall off, she said yes! Not forgetting that she had
high heels on:) ~ Now, it's time for my views:
Was slightly disappointed that Yanzi did not get anything, although I
saw from the news at 10 plus that she lost out to amei and jay for the
best female and best album, I still watched the show till 3am.... ~
still yawning.... but all of my effort was not lost, after the show,
they showed a behind the scene thingy, and they interviewed Yanzi and
Jay while they were preparing to present the best new comer award.
Yanzi was very shy when she was asked about the heels she was wearing,
she said that practically this was the first time that she had wore
such high heels and she was afraid that she might slip or fall, when
she was asked about the little glittering "fake" diamonds that were
stuck to her legs, she giggled and laughed.... again she did not show
her legs to the camera as she was really really shy...she did
mentioned the diamonds were stuck there because she did not want to
wear stockings...She looked quite demure with the bias cutting
skirt...

From the Straits Times: Stefanie Sun hot at home
 Stefanie
Sun in her first concert in Singapore last night. IN HER first concert
in Singapore last night, homegrown singer Stefanie Sun shone before a
sell-out crowd of 8,000. Her parents, two sisters and fellow
home-grown singers Tanya Chua and Stella Ng were also at the Singapore
Indoor Stadium. Nifty dance steps, numerous costume changes and a
lavish stage aside, it was still the waif-like singer's unique voice
that captivated. As Singapore's hottest pop export so far, she will
perform in Malaysia, Hongkong, China, America and possibly Australia
later this year.
Special Singapore Version of Start
 This special version is
already out in major music shops and it comes with a free VCD.
However, there isn't any photo book in this version. There's some
clips about the making of her MTVs etc...I'll be updating the
discography after my exams ends.

13th Golden Melody Awards
 Yanzi and her album, "KITE" are nominated for 3 awards in this year's
Golden Melody Awards. It will be held in Gao Xiong on the 4th of May.

Issue No. 47 of You Weekly
There's a big huge poster of Yanzi found in the 47th issue of UW
 Start Television Special
On the
29th of March, there will be a "Start TV Special" shown on Channel U
at 1.30pm. Be sure to catch it! And remember that Yanzi's Singapore concert will be at the
Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 27 at 8 pm. Tickets at $149, $129,
$99, $69 are available from Sistic.

is chosen to be the Taiwan's Spokesperson of the 2002 World Cup. Just
saw the report on E-News and Green Light is the theme song. Wonder
when will Singapore do something like this?

Brand New Album
It was reported in i-weekly that yanzi had already started to search
for songs for her new album. She had started with some recording and
it is highly possible that Warner will be releasing it as soon as her
world tour concert ends.
Spokesperson for Mac Donald's
 It has been made official that Stefanie will be the 2002 spokesperson
for Mac Donald's.
The deal was originally for Elva Hsiao, however, as Virgin records had
released the Mac Donald's commercial theme song as a single without
their approval, the whole thing was called off & eventually, they
settled for Stefanie.....hmmmmm, not a bad choice:)

P.S: Fei Xiang also sang a techno version of "Gan Lan Shu", but I still prefer Stef's version as I Feel that these sentimental oldies should remain as it is, otherwise, it will lose its "flavor"
